Answer any one of the following questions in about 80 to 100 words each:
1.      What does the writer try to convey through the story, “Two Gentlemen of Verona”.
2.      Describe the character of the frog as shown in the poetry, “The Frog and the Nightingale”.

Write a short story in 150 words based on the following cue:
Young lad comes to Cremona in Italy - roams around the streets – stops to hear people playing a large instrument – decides to become an apprentice to a violin maker – designs smaller versions of the large violin – becomes the maker of the Amati violin – bought by the French King of that period – today there are 500 Amati violins around the world.

Do as directed:
1.      Why did you bring a stray puppy home? (Change from active to passive)
2.      He asked Rama if he had seen the picture before. (Change into direct speech)
3.      She was angry. That is quite true (Combine these sentences using a noun clause)
